Back home safe n sound if a little damp, horrendous storm on the M5 probably the worst rain we've ever encountered.

What a fantastic weekend, brilliant ride out well led by Boxered, (Steve) and thanks to SParry (Steve) but you can't get rid of us that easy

Nice to meet friends old and new and it was great to see Alan but we really did miss Alan Peter Reg & Gwen on there bikes on the ride out, maybe a South West do in Oct could be a good chance to ride with you again.

Phil.

Home safe and sound after a very damp with the occasional slide and dodgy coach driver!!! we managed to make it home without major incident but was a bit hair raising at times!!!!
A massive thank you to all involved in organising another amazing welsh weekend. Already looking forward to next years tour of north wales.
And I hear a whisper of a south west meet in October !!!!
Would be great to see everyone down Yer !!!

What a cracking couple of days. Best birthday I've had in years :D . Thanks Steve and Steve. Thanks to the Zummerzet posse for having me along. The WPH was great. Yesterday's ride was better.

Fings wot I've learned:
- Welsh cow shit ain't no grippier than English cow shit.
- An R12 of any flavour can boogie
- Tail End Charlie doesn't necessarily have to be at the back :?
- Reg isn't fond of Radio 1 at 06:30hrs.
- I must sort out my comedy indicators.

Aside from the biblical downpour on the M5 and a brown trouser moment on hitting a big bump while heeled over  it was even a fun ride home. Gonna clean the old girl tomorrow - first pass will be with a pitchfork.

Mike :D

Thank you very much for a great weekend everyone.

Was great fun and the weather for the ride was excellent, plus the roads nice and quiet. Had a proper blast, thanks for the company

Can I make a suggestion?

Start a photo thread in the "Ride Reports" section, rather than extending a 24 page "planning" thread?

If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......

Perhaps you're palming yourself off with the wrong technique mate? After a long hard ride I always try to get a girlfriend to give me a hand with my helmet. Finishing off with a good hard polish, it's such a relief to just lie back watch her get on top of the job.

Just sayin', Nick.

It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.
