Steve - the White Hart is certainly within yards of the Bulls Head, and slightly uphill on the way 'home'. Hurts less when you fall over then. :)

I like it already :)

The menu looks good to me Peter

Belly Pork my favourite yum yum, (hope it's on our menu)

As an aside, from memory street view didn't help much in finding the Gascony in Minehead Steve

On the other hand you found the Taj Mahal.……

Hi,
Well I have spent the last 2 days up in the Dales checking out possible routes for July (Its a hard life but somebody's got to do it) Got quite wet yesterday but dried out in the pub--Is that possible   . Lots of roads with stunning views that I am happy to do on my own or with 1 or 2 but not with a group of 15/20 bikes so I'm looking at doing the same route as a couple of years ago

http://goo.gl/maps/2CjEi

I think this should keep everyone happy and if the weather plays ball it is a good days riding.

I am planning to run down to Ribblehead/Settle on the Sun Morning for those who need to head south on the M6 as it would be a shame to miss these roads out over the weekend.

Peter.

looks good to me Peter, but what do I know having never been further north than Watford Gap

just one request, for my little angel :angel5: would it be possible to take in a view of a lake in the lake district ?

The Ribblehead/Settle sounds good as well, does that take in the viaduct ?
I shall plan a slightly different run up now probably via Skipton

perhaps a quick run up the Kirkstone Pass (changing point E on the directons) would achieve this Peter without detracting too much from the given route?

Hi Steve, me and brother were in Hawes today and spotted the Kingfisher B&B, the google map is correct. There is a sign outside now, can't miss it.
