disc bolt fitment

Postby jts » Wed Jun 16, 2004 12:41 pm

hello :D
have just fitted the front disc bolts ( thanks minivin) the right side went in no problems but the left side i had to run a tap down the threads as i just went to put the new ones in then all of a sudden just locked half way down the bolt so i managed to remove carefully is it all the excess locitite left in there ??? also i have used loctite 270 is there any difference to 2701??? or am i all ok with the 270
so to anybody doing the disc bolts do not force them in as the bolt could snap then your up shit street
i have a m8 tap if any wants to borrow it :D

many thanks jts
