K&N cleaning

Postby Jason M » Sun May 30, 2004 4:12 pm

I've lost all the K&N paperwork, but my filter is clogged with crap and I want to clean it - I know they say not to use petrol but I'm sure my mate used it to clean his.

Is there an alternative? White Spirits? Paraffin?

I think they say don't use petrol so they don't get sued when you blow yourself up

There is a special K&N filter cleaner it comes in a 1litre Spray bottle and if freely available from most of the Car stores or Halfords. I think I paid £4.99
