Good afternoon,
Hope you're all enjoying the spring so far.
I have a question regarding the system cases on my '99 R11S.
They seem to be leaning inwards when mounted on the bike, I have set both the little adjustable plastic thingys on the lower case support (attached to the pillion foot rests) in the outermost position, but the bags still look like they have been loaded to heavy when looking at the bike from behind. I have been wondering if maybe I should try installing a washer a few mm thick between the subframe and the foot rests/luggage mount, to see if it would help, but I have some concerns about moving the weight on the pillion foot rest (e.g. when stepping onto the bike) outwards relatively to the subframe.
Any suggestions/experiences?
Regards,
Simon, Denmark

That photo is just for reference - from Mitch in Tasmania.
Pretty sure mine sit the same, so it could be the OP's lower stays are slightly deformed.

They look straighter than mine! Might have to consider straightening mine up, although I didn't consider it an issue until now - I assumed they were all like that......
