Speedo failure. 2003 r1100s

Postby Trumpetdude » Fri Jan 16, 2015 2:12 pm

A rather soggy run saw my Speedo gradually fail, bounce limply a couple of time and then stop altogether. While I don't suspect the weather got into the sender I'm wondering if the can be cleaned up? I've had a wee search on here and as I'm away from home and the bike's currently locked up I thought I'd ask you lovely bunch of people. Any ideas?

Water is the enemy.
A soggy sensor is the most likley culprit, apply hair dryer.
