yes the pyramis are already s/s but methinks they are the softest grade possible - it only took two rear tyre changes for the hex to turn to O  and thats using a decent toolkit
Best replace with something decent imho.

Yep, agree with all the above Rob. The standard hex bolts as supplied by Pyramid do seem a bit crappy to be holding a brake caliper on IMHO. I don't use the back brake too much anyway mercifully! The countersunk washers and the supplied s/s screws can be re-used so all we're really interested in is the hex bolts in Stainless

Cheers - Dave 8)

P.S. sent you an e mail regarding the 400 caliper bolts. Appreciate all the effort BTW Rob. :D

Rob,
I put my ilmberger hugger on tonight.
The bolts I took out had 25mm thread length
The ones that came with the hugger were 35mm thread.
The hugger bracket is 8mm thick and there was a thick spring washer to make up the extra 10mm.

Hi Bern

Does that mean that unlike the other huggers that use a hexagon bolt with 25mm threaded portion and a hex depth of 35mm and a M6 hole tapped in the end for the hugger mount, that yours has the bolt go through the hugger and the caliper as well?

If your hugger uses a metal bracket from what I can tell then I can supply a pair of M10x 35mm course thread Socket Caps at £2.80 + P&P if it's just a case that they bolt the bracket to the Caliper.

Could you supply a pickie of how this system is so that I can be happy that I actually understand this since don't want to send anybody duff info and parts ;)

Yes Rob, as Dave confirmed regarding the M6 screw and washer.
The replacement caliper bolts will garner the most interest in my mind. The rest can be reused unless you're really obsessed about the dished washer.

ok, I'm trying to sort a CAD file of the bolt at the moment and see what can be done about producing it, hopefully have good news next week on the pyramid hugger; Caliper bolt

Does anyone have the part numbers for the washers/shims that fit between the bolt/disc/wheel? Not sure exactly how many different bits there are as I have yet to dismantle a front wheel, but I know later ones had an extra bit to stop the wheel wear problem. Reckon Gus must be the expert here.

Stempy I've got the ETK parts manual here on CD. Is your bike ABS? and are we talking about the front wheel here? If you can give me the exact details I'll do my best to get the nunber for you
