New 1200 WC engine

They are good yes. They retain the low down boxer characteristics but are much more free revving and smooth that they feel like a 4 cylinder higher up.
Overtakes are their biggest strong point, that initial boxer shove followed by a multi cylinder take off.

Certainly a fine engine. However the first defects and shortcomings begin to show up. One of the biggest drawbacks for me is that the cylinders are part of the engine housing.
