Very nice Laser :P

You've spent some money there and the bike looks cracking. I do like that type of carbon rocker covers but struggle to justify the £350. Still it's Crimbo soon so you never know.
Getting back on topic how loud would you say the laser system is ? I've always been an akro man but having heard one (admittantly on the net) it sounded like a wet f*rt

I've got the full Akropovic system and a K&N fiited - and its a belter. It needs to have the baffles and replacement cat removed to sound good - but it does sound good and really smooths out the power delivery. Everyone always comments how good it sounds. At £1200 though it should do.

I put a movie on youtube and it doesn't do it justice - it may have had the cat in at the time too - I can't remember.

Hein Gericke - did a deal for about 15% off and got it for about £1100 I think plus £33 worth of points on the card. I'd have though Nippy Norman may do you a good price seeing as he's only up in Bovey Tracey (my home town) - worth asking.

Took 1hr to fit max. Everything fitted perfectly and the qulaity is superb.

A few people who have had other pipes - HPE, Zard etc haver said that some parts needed a bit of 'help' to fit properly.

Sounds like you're a Yorkshire-man!

Maybe we swapped when I moved up from the West Country

I got mine from Leon at bmwbikebits.co.uk and paid the delivery as I ordered a few other things too - he is very helpful and also sells a couple of nice tail tidies for the 12s as well.

Saying that so does R&G although you do have to cut wires for the R&G tailtidy and there replacement LED light is next to useless. R&G also do bar-end crash bungs too which would come in handy. Thet were meant to be designing head guards too but don't seem to done them yet.

If not any local dealer or bike shop - i.e. - Hein gericke or other should be able to order them in for you too and you may get away with out paying the postage.

Fitted Bos front pipes connected to a Zard back box.
Love it because the front pipes go under the engine and not round the side. Also the Zard box is e-marked. There is a type approval ducument supplied by Zard to wave in the face of plod to prove its been tested as such too - just hope plod doesn't spot that this in conjunction with a cat. The Bos front pipes (£300) remove the cat and are half the weight.

Back box £566 from Rainbow bikes or any other wunderlich supplier.

hi
wicked looking pipes .thanks for posting pics. do you have any more sideways pics of the front pipes. they look lot nicer with them going underneath than the standard round the sides . did you have to do anything with the fueling . has the silencer got removable baffles .
can't decide what to use on my bike ,too many options.thanks again rc .

Yes the Zard looks very nice indeed. :D
A couple of questions about those headers, would it still be possible to fit a belly pan and are you able to lift the bike up on the sump without taking them off ? One last thing with the bike off the stand how much ground clearance would there be ?

So now I'm down to two.... Zard OR Akro ...
I've got a full Akro system on my Mille and can't fault it. Full titanium with carbon mufflers weighs less than a gnats left b*ll*ck  If the Zard system was 75% as good I'd be happy.
Anyone any more info on the Zard system ?

Gives you an idea of the ground clearance.
FYI - Wunderlich do their own front pipes with the cat removed - but they use the original pattern which means you can use them in conjunction with aftermarket belly pans.
