What a beaut. Hard to believe that it's not been refurbished at least once, but if it is original, hats off to the owner/s - that's almost Roloo standard cleanliness :)
It is a shame to think that it's unlikely to see many, if any, more miles under its tyres though. Gonna be an investment/show piece for someone. A victim of its super condition.

I know this bike well. I was offered it a lot cheaper (under £3k) by the guy who'd owned it from 2004. I HPI checked it plus used a couple of other information sources.
It was originally a Kent Police bike so the mileage will definitely be incorrect. It was also 'retired' early from the Force (which is a cause for concern on it's own as the Police didn't write them off, the just sold them on) It then had 10 previous owners (not counting the trader selling it (so that makes it 12 owners) & had a couple of recorded colour changes, the last one being 1st April '86, changed from PINK
Needless to say, I passed on this one....
Just goes to show

That history kind of appeals to me.
Certainly interesting, although 12 owners, even at this age is a lot.

I have MOT'ed my old airhead this week so have been using her to commute to work and back. She has nearly 70k miles and her previous owner had taken her all over Europe.

It started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle and the less said about the end the better, but apart from that it was excellent.
