You know me too well H ;)

Trouble is I just took the Blackbird in for its MoT which it passed with not a single issue and simply drew 'in bloody good nick that bike' comments from the guys at Burwin's. As a result I still feel very attached to it.

It's just such a damn fine bike, and I'm normally a died-in-the-wool Honda-hater.

But...

I've just spent all weekend toying with and training against a Hayabusa...with the express interest of "dealing" with certain people on Blackbirds come June.

I don't 'deal' with anyone John so you'll be waiting a long way past June. ;)

You bringing the 1098?

Indeed! Hopefully freshly and well shod this time.

But Mr Flash has first dibs.

I'll be MOT'ing the S this month just in case.

Oooh...I hope you'll be supplying the necessary tissues to wipe the drool off it!! Look forward to seeing it in the flesh. :)

I'd rather not have a spin on it tbh - simply because if I do my life may never be the same again. :(

Which ferry crossing you doing John?

Nigel - still got the Zeds but they're a force of nature, not motorcycles ;)

Saying that, the 301 is probably going to go - the poor thing just doesn't get any use whatsoever and it's a crying shame to leave it standing in the garage.

You're probably right re the memories thing, but my 2nd 11R was bought on the strength of exactly that and on riding it away from the dealer I felt like I'd come home again.

What you're supposed to say is 'save your money, you really enjoy the bike you've got and only need change it if you're unhappy'. ;)
