YEP, that be the one
The color don't excite me and the shape isn't important; I'd look to change the body work to race 'glass and paint on the Colgate design in fluoro yellow and green (just to be as annoying as possible).
As to the motor with an proposed 105 kw and 170 kg, I'm sold! The Lizard is going to be replaced by it's younger sibling.

If enough is enough and more is better than too much should be just about right.
Where did they find all those extra horses?
I spy tougher frame, improved top yoke, better front calipers, Olins, engine higher up, better intake + exhaust plumbing, better cam chain tensioner + slippers, single spark. But 35 more hp (than the R1100S)? How?

...¿¿...35...??...
...a stock R12S (without a RapidBike box... ) has about 122...
...the road going version of the HP2 Sport schould have some 130 - 133 HP...
...the HP2 Sport revs higher than a R12S...
...it has bigger valves...
...different air-box...
...a better exhaust system (take a look at the pipes)...
...way different heads...
...imagine a HP2 Sport with a RapidBike box + dyno set up...
Have a nice day !

Very interesting. Don't worry about the cam chain tensioner or the lack of pushrods!
If that image is in any way accurate, then the cam lobes are sloping .
They seem to match the angle between the shafts that hold the little cam followers.
Do any other manufacturers do something similar?

Yes they do. But only a few like MV Agusta and Honda XBR500. It is because the valves have a radial arrangement to create a regular (dome) shaped and compact combustion chamber.
H*nda XBR500-GB500 engine (RFVC as they call it)
It allows bigger valves.

Oh that's what it is!
OK I take back all I said about the looks of this model. These shots make it seem quite an attractive bike, though I could be stingy and suggest a few cosmetic changes. Technically it's fascinating, and I am already wondering how to wangle a test ride out of John Clark's, as and when.
