I'm breathing again!

Postby Paul » Wed Jul 05, 2006 4:52 pm

Hi folks,

I have spoken to several of you over the past few months about my wife, Kate, being diagnosed with cancer of the bowel, which had spread to her liver. Surgeons removed the tumours in her bowel in February and she's recently completed a course of six sessions of chemotherapy.

The excellent news is that the latest scans on her liver show that the tumours have been destroyed, so she won't need any more chemotherapy or surgery in the near future. She will continue to have precautionary scans every 3 months or so for the next 4 or 5 years but it's looking like she is out of danger now.

Thanks to all of you who have offered moral support over the past few difficult months. It's been much appreciated.

Cheers,

Paul :wav:
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Paul that's fantastic news, I'm really pleased for you both.

I recommend some Champagne therapy as a precautionary measure.

Cheers
