With the rollout seemingly going well I shall be looking forward to a Welsh weekend in May, and with the help of this calculator see where you are placed

Hmmmm, still not sure about it yet, depends if you have to have both doses before we are allowed out to play, have you guys carried your booking over from last year?
Sue, as a healthcare worker had her first one today.

I try to be glass half full Al so we just left our deposit with the hope to attend this year, sure we’d have to social distance and wear masks but just to get out and meet friends would be ace, especially the hipster bunch

I have mine Thursday and Karen Friday  as we’re both sub 60 we can only think our Dr’s surgery is ahead of the curve, neither of us has any underlying issues we know of :dontknow:

All good, the sooner we are all vaccinated the better, don't think life will ever be the 'same' but it has to get better.

My first vaccination was scheduled for last Saturday at 3:50pm. I rocked up at 3:45 and was greeted with the sight of the vaccination centre up in flames:

Apparently they had called the engines out at 3:30...

The appointment has been re-scheduled for Friday morning, so I still have some time to sort out some Nomex fire proof underwear, just in case...

I was a bit surprised to be called in so early too. I don't have any underlying conditions, that I'm aware of. Perhaps it's my GP's way of telling me to lose some weight?

Fingers crossed that enough of us will have been jabbed/chipped by May and the Welsh hospitality industry is opened up again in time for the rescheduled WW to take place.

Cheers,

Paul

Had my first jab yesterday. Advice from my sister and bro in law (both health care professionals) was to drink plenty (luckily I've got plenty of Stella in the house!! ) and take parecetemol at recommended intervals. Some have complained of headaches but the morning after my only side effect was a stiffness where I had the injection. It feels like there should be a bruise there but there's no evidence
