Been doing quite a bit of MTB-ing in the last 10 weeks and loving getting back into it. Needed some new boots for her so went looking for some after initial enquiries at 2 different Edinburgh bike shops said they didn't do off road stuff, just road stuff  Hey ho, found a shop at the end of The Meadows who did have some

Nice bike stand!! I used to have a Blackburn bench mounted stand but got rid of it and replaced with Lidl cheapy - OK if you don't use it too often but no good for cheap heavy bikes - my reasonably light Cougar road bikes has it flexing somewhat - oh well, you get what you pay for, buy cheap buy twice - anymore?

Lockdown cost effective solution down here in cash-strapped Shropshire is of course two ratchet straps slung over a roof beam in the garage.
Bike (cycle) at any height you want and free as I already have the straps for when I strap the 1100S onto the back of the motorhome.
Needed the solution for getting the wheel out & replacing a blow out in a tube.

Just serviced and sorted out the STIs on my turbo bike - I'd forgotten how many cycle tools I had - bottom bracket taps, headset press, drop out aligners and many others. Basically enough for a bike shop. I just need to get out and ride the MTB now
