Hi All
Been about 10 years since I've been gone.
Still got my 04 BCR it now has an Ohlin read shock and a Wilbers front.
Transformed the handling.
Fitted standard S wing mirrors offer the look.

Triple 8 one of my favourite bikes off all time, never owned one but did have a m8 who did, we used to go to Le Mans 24hr in a large group and I must say when Ashley was on his 888 and I was on my ZXR750 I always thought Roche and Russell early SBK

The 42mmm race exhaust gives 97BHP at the back wheel.
Exceptionally well mannered on the road and deceptively quick 8)

Looks much better with the rear pegs removed and the race exhaust fit. What is the make of system, I couldn’t make it out from the pit pic ?

@popsky I can just picture you two :bounce: I watched a WSBK race from Donnington 1992 the other day and those two were both on track, great days 8)

I do remember this bit of road near Dorchester, between 2 roundabouts, uphill 2 lane and flat out, my ear was literally next to his zorst bloody marvellous.

https://goo.gl/maps/zh27o7eapMFayQQq9

When we got to France the route was Cherbourg St-Lo Vire and plenty of backroads to Le Mans, iirc we had 20+ bikes that year with me as “leader” obviously someone was gonna get lost which they did, 2 peeps made a break for it and Ash on his triple 8 followed, next village he was stopped by the gendarmes, not for speeding as we initially thought but a report of a red Ducati that had been stolen lol, I can’t quite remember the whole story but he might have had to do a fair bit of explaining in his chicken French to be allowed on his way. The upshot of it was when we’d arrived at the hotel there were the 2 who’d shot of from the ferry the 2 who’d got lost and Ash.
We the rest of the group had waited in a town for the 2 lost and Ash to catch up, but there’d already found each other and taken a bypass around us, I can’t remember who got the beers in but a great weekend was had by all :D
