My wife doesn't understand me, and now the car...

The Scottish accent strikes again. We've just changed our car for a less basic form of transport than our old one (I went cheap and chearful when I retired, but it quickly became cheap and dull). The new to us car syncs into my phone and allows me to make calls hands-free by voice commands (you can see where this is going). The man at the garage demonstrated this feature with the command, "call home". After a second's thought, the car replied, "calling home" and proceeded to dial our home number.
I'm not really planning to use the feature, but parked outside the house, I decided to give it a try. "Call home", I commanded. After a pause, she replied, "calling Paul". "No", I said and hung up before I had to explain to Paul why I'd just called him. "Call home" I repeated in my best English accent. "Calling Paul", she said with, I thought, a hint of amused rebellion in her voice. "NO! Who the hell is Paul anyway?", I said, hanging up again.
The missus joined me in the car and I explained my problem to her. "I'll try", she said, "Call home". "Calling home", replied the car.
I can see this is going to be a difficult relationship.
