It may not be just my slow riding style either, the roads are busy down here in the SE, a lot of the time I'm forced to ride at the speed of cars in traffic :-(
I used a lot more berries when in Scotland in the summer !!

I have not found any difference in consumption since I fitted the GS tubes but it certainly drops a bit when the booster plug is fitted as well and I also have a lennies induct, laser cans and chip + K & N and I am a bit heavy handed where safe to do so :D, my best fuel figures are when my better half is on the back!

Over the 5000 miles i've put on mine this year i reckon i've averaged about 40ish MPG with about 46 on a tour.
most of that mileage is 2 up with luggage mind.

Well I was going to say to begin with that " I don't want to bang on about this ", but clearly I do a bit because I'm posting again on fuel consumption.

I'm really curious about how this can be ?

Today was so fine and mild with dry roads that I decided to nip over to Krazy Horse ( very expensive custom bike shop ) in Bury St Edmunds for a gander and a coffee.
BTW it's a 50 ml round trip on the A14 which I did at 80 ish mph.

On the way back I stopped to fill up with my usual Shell V Power with 137 mls on the odo and no fuel light on.
I brimmed it and got 11.64 ltrs in.
That's 11.8 m p ltr or 53.5 mpg .

I'm really flummoxed about how this can be, or how fast you guys are to
burn it at 40 ish mpg !!! ?
Sorry, I'll shut up now.
Simon.
