There is a guy near me in Enderby called Dave East. He straightened my Ducati wheel a few years back.

If you can prove that the pothole has been there for a significant time - do some door-door calling in the area (of people who go to and from work) - ask for a statement from them - then it is reasonable to expect that the council had a duty to repair it within that period.

Then - claim the cost of repair from the council.
