You'd have to promise me that you'd be really really nice to it ;)

Things are slightly on hold at the moment - my hifi amp went DC this afternoon and has lunched one of my speakers. Won't be a cheap fix.

Good points PB - as most folk know, I've been an out and out Hondahater over the years but the Blackbird is just such a great tool. It's quite blunt in many ways - nothing clever nor hi-tech about it, but an example of the big H getting it very right from the outset.

You watch, when they finally bring out a new Blackbird they'll f*ck it up as they did the VFR by throwing lots of technology at it....tech that doesn't work.

Think I'll get a new nose fairing (this one's a bit scratched up) and get the front wheel re-sprayed after which the bike will be nigh-on mint. Not bad for 9 yrs old and 47000 miles. :)

Thanks :)

I think you should keep it - something like that won't go down in value. :)

You getting ear-ache then? ;)

Must admit when I mooted the idea to Ann about this 11R she said 'well if you want it that's up to you'. Now, most blokes would give up drink for a week* for that sort of answer - it just sends me into an indecisive tailspin. :D

Carol's ace but I did take a loan out for the GSA, so either the motorhome or the bbird goes. Weve got a tent so I think the motorhome needs to go haha

Digressing slightly, but in the hope of keeping the outstanding question alive...R or not to R...

I took my eldest son out on the 11S for the first time on Sunday...and the first time on the 11S for me in some months (on a proper run).

It reminded me what a fantastic bike it is...especially two up.

If my SWMBO said that to me... I'd be wondering what she was going to by herself next......EXPENSIVE.

LOL - fair point. :D

In this case it's a house we're looking at buying this weekend.

Looks like I'll be keeping the Blackbird anyway - I've just grown so very attached to it. :)
