1st time

Postby popsky » Sat Mar 11, 2017 7:56 pm

Took the 12s out today, first time with the new Corbin saddle ( thanks 12sconvert ), its like riding a plank………

THE most comfortable plank I've ever sat on
slow speed, through town, open road it's bloody great.

Now I've been riding a day or two and I've always suffered a numb bum ( cue ridicule  ) don't matter what bike make model, granted most this side of 1989 have been sport oriented but I thought it just must have been me and it was probably getting worse, 400 mile days didn't really appeal like they used to especially as within 25 miles it became uncomfortable and I've had the 12s for 8 years now so was resigned to it but I think this is the answer, me and K had a ride out to Glastonbury today and no problems, no running in as I'd thought only comfort, I can't quite believe it, very happy and can't wait to get out again and really looking forward to the Welsh weekend and around 650-700 miles

Pretty steep. Do you have to provide a seat to use as a base?

No it's all there own work, very well made, a bit heavier than std but not too much, should take a few hundred miles to bed in, Karen had one on a CBR600f a few years ago, that took her about 500 but mine is really comfy from the off so if it gets better then ACE :D
