Time for a change

Postby mikek_7 » Fri Apr 17, 2015 10:51 am

Well after 10 great years, it's time for a change. 1100S has gone and all the bits and pieces that have been added over the years are in the For Sale section. I may well regret it and miss the boxer thump, but only time will tell.

Although I haven't been a prolific poster :( this has been a great forum, packed with proper information and advice and a few 'characters' to keep life interesting.

So, off to pastures new ...

You never told us what marque you're "defecting" too?

Hopefully you're not jacking in riding altogether.

No, not giving up completely - too addicted for that!

Staying with BMW and going over to the darkside of 4 cylinders and water cooled - a K1300S which might prove a good exercise in self-restraint if I want to keep my license

Good for you!

Stick around, post more - the site may have started with the 1100s (it did, didn't it????), but has evolved and will continue to do so

I'll be still checking in and seeing what's going on - if only to see if of rim tape has actually come back into fashion yet!

K1300s's are a great bike :D

Just rode one back from London to Somerset on one today. Got back about 3pm but still grinning

Only advice I would give, keep up the BMW warranty! 8)
