On the subject of heated gloves and the like..
Has anyone ever had goretex gloves leaking due to heated grips?? Or is it another myth?
Now, this may be slightly contentious, but has anyone fitted handguards to an S to keep the wind off? I don't like muffs. Well, thats not strictly true, but I digress

Well they came as OE on the 11s which is a sports/tourer but I had to fit my own on the Honda which is billed as an out-and-out 'sports' bike and, consequently, not the place I'd expect to find these 'winter' aids as OE.
I like to get out on those cold, bright winter days myself so I fitted these:
eBay item number:
231032049953
With four discernible settings and a cut-off when the battery's not being charged I find they work really well. However, (if you wear ordinary separate fingered gloves) unless your sat behind a nice big fairing, heated grips are always going to be fighting a losing battle.
Nick.

Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.
It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.
