I think you'd need asbestos liners in your undercrackers, mind :shock:

Pretty much, yeah.

In the normal configuration (calipers bolted to forks) the brakes are next to useless.

I've taken to hanging them loose like that, and kind of throwing them so's they snag on roadside objects, ship's anchor-like. Helluva improvement over standard.
