Back on a boxer!

Postby exoticices » Sat Sep 29, 2012 4:43 pm

I used to have a silver R1200S but sold it a couple of years ago in a moment of stupidity and regretted it ever since. The bikes I tried to replace it with just didn't have that essential boxeryness, leaving me frustrated and bitter.

But.... today I picked up a lovely yellow R1200S. It's like being back on an old friend.

Learn from my mistake - don't sell your boxers!

Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.

It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

You've obviously seen my friends - I should definately have re-phrased it!

I've already got a list of tweaks to do to make it 'my' bike. Funnily enough, I ordered a set of rocket sprockets from Mr Lennie before I'd even bought the bike.

I've only got the dealer pic. I'll be braving the elements soon into wildest Wales so I'll post some more interesting pics then.

I hope to see boxeryness in the next edition of the OED.
