The Looks of the ST are slowly growing on me. I wonder if they'll grow enough to dissuade me from moving to a 12S next year.

I like the ST, I know its hideous but it is the 1200 that sounds most like it suits my needs.

The ST is a bloody annoying motorcycle - I had one as a loaner once when NOG were servicing my BCR. Wanted to dislike the ST but had to admit it really is a superb motorcycle. I could never really get used to its looks - from the side/rear it's liveable-with (even quite *funky I think) but from the front oh dear...

Goes quite well (significantly quicker than my BCR was), very comfy and neat handling - despite the loan bike having a squared-off rear tyre and about 15psi in it (was even better once I'd pumped it up myself).

*Reg riding a funky bike...who'd have thought it. :D

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! My eyes! Blinded by the cyclops.

Such a great engine, such an ugly nose.

Someone DARED to park it next to that beautiful MV?

4 x ST's at around 5 Grand on ebay with full luggage and fsh. I dare say you could knock em down to 4 1/2.

Cheap as chips folks.

As long as you wear a full face helmet no one will know who you are...

Joke's aside, the ST is really a good bike & well worth the cash I spent.....I have some great trips on my ST...and more to come!

There are a few good bikes out there that folk just don't see, the new R1200R is a cracking bike and looks great - black with cream stripe on the tank, very very nice. I would like one.
I had the R1150R and really only sold it as the garage was at the time full. A nice comfy bike.

Actually I've a bit of time off from works soon and I will give my ST a bit of a Lurv up and whip the plastic off (and peel off all the duct tape) and give it a jolly good clean and a service.
