Hi Steve, great report & pics, the Dukes pass is a must whenever you're in the area. Did you do the 'Ballachulish loop' when you passed through Glencoe? It's a spectacular stretch of road which Yogi of this parish introduced us too on the 2007 Scottish Boxertrix weekend.
Disappointing to hear you got a frosty reception & poor service at one of your stops, you're right to name'n'shame, perhaps a letter to the owners might make them buck-up their ideas?
You planning a 2015 tour?
Rob.

Oooo not heard of the loop sounds interesting :)

The Dukes pass was a real shove the K in 2nd gear and work it hard, there really wasn't any need for another gear to be used :)

I'd read a few negative reports on Tripadvisor but took them with a pinch of salt, sadly they were all spot on. From the responses from the owner on Tripadvisor I doubt complaining to them would make a difference.

Shame too cos the welcome elsewhere more than made up for it :)

And yes will definitely be back in 2015 :)

Just realised where it is though, I spied the scenic route sign the other day just before we went back over Glencoe. I think I'll incorporate it next years trip
