Hi r1100s question

Postby bill pierce » Sat May 12, 2007 11:02 pm

Hi guys,

I have been thinking about ditching my sport bike for a r1100s. I have a 140 mile commute every day and the ol yamaha is putting the pain on me.

What year should I be looking at. Or maybe I should say any year to avoid?

I rode a 2002 today ABS brakes seem kinda weird. I like the bike though. Just a bit weak like my little sister.

Thanks

Welcome indeed.
Not sure what you mean about "brakes being a little weak". I've always thought my ABS servoed brakes were like throwing an anchor over the side :? Note to self 'Try a Yam's brakes'.

By the way, is that offer open to all Trixters or just Bikemad99??
