Yes, WOW! Thanks to Paul (theseadog) I now have a Staintune exhaust on my 11S, and boy does it make a difference! A lot more power, picks up much better and it revs like it never did before. It's like I've been riding with the brakes on all this time. Paul, I can't thank you enough. I couldn't afford a new one, but this has been the best investment in my bike so far. Really transformed the engine.

Other mods on my bike so far:
- HID Xenon low beam (€80 for single bulb setup thru http://www.tunex.nl, really great guys to deal with and excellent service. Highly recommended with great prices.)
- Ilmberger carbon-fiber hugger, bought through Wunderlich (http://www.wunderlich.de)
- Garmin 2720 mounted through a combination of Touratech and GadgetGuy mounts (http://www.touratech.de and http://www.gadgetguy.net) The gadgetguy mount was leftover from my previous bike and made to fit the R11S Touratech part.
- Stebel magnum blaster horn; if they don't hear me now they are deaf.
- Datatool S4 alarm system (http://www.datatool.co.uk, very good alarm with impressive feature set and really butcher proof when properly installed)
- LED tail light with stock red lens (http://www.nippynormans.com, another great shop to deal with)
- LED rear blinkers with clear lenses, also from Nippy's
- Alu oil filler cap which needs a allen key to remove. Leaks less than the plastic originals too (http://www.wunderlich.de)
- Alu cam coverpanels; the original plastic one on the left was slightly warped causing it to leak a bit (http://www.wunderlich.de)
- Colormatched bellypan. Looks great, but somewhat impractical as my paddock stand does not fit with the bellypan mounted.

Together with the original factory accessoires like 5.5" rear rim, sports suspension package and heated grips this really is one heck of a bike I love more and more. Can't wait for spring and start my Spain tour with it.

Yes, and I will keep them in. They're getting really annoying about loud pipes. And rightfully so, to some degree.

The Staintune works better with the baffles in, gives better engine braking. I should know as Paul bought that system from me, boy has it travelled as I bought it from Tony Smith (older trixters will know who).

That Staintune system was part of an article in Performance Bike in 2003 when Tony's bike was featured.

I don't know how it is without, but I am definately impressed with the kick-ass midrange compared to stock.

I did a bunch of stuff to move away from stock and I can't actually say which bit has had what impact.
Getting it Dyno'd in the New Year to dial in the PC fuelling - I'll see what the tuner says about the baffle impact.

The difference I feel with the Staintunes compared to the stock silencers and the obnoxiously loud ones that came with the bike - both with cat eliminator fitted - is like I have been riding the bike with my foot on the rear brake all the time untill I got the 'tunes. Now it just runs. It didn't feel like it wanted to rev either, so I shifted early as there wasn't anything to gain by pulling through anyway. Now it runs to the red line in a blink of an eye.

Me very happy. :)

With the baffles left in it does give better mid range and better engine braking off throttle. With the baffles out the mid range does suffer and when off the throttle it tends to run on a bit.

I like to ride without touching the brakes all the time and getting my speed right for bends by rolling on and off the throttle. This is why I preferred riding with the baffles in, but they do sound better with them out.

Hi guys ...just put a set of staintunes on...from Ian53...and didnt notice that much differance.....put baffles back in as sounded shit on tickover... spoke to Darren at motorworks and he said i may need to balance the throttle bodies....So will give it a go the weekend......
