R1200S panniers wanted

Postby Wilsonsp2 » Wed Jul 28, 2021 11:47 am

Just been up to the Highlands on my 1200S using a set of borrowed panniers. They were really good, so I’m after a pair. I realise that they’re like hen’s teeth, but has anybody out there in the boxer universe got a pair they don’t need anymore? Fingers crossed - thanks, all.

You've more chance having a date with Katie Price.

I've looked many times. Rarer than a rare thing from rareshire.

Hello,

Might be worth calling Motorworks as they list them in their second hand section of parts for £110 each but doubtful they will actually have any but they may put you on a request list in case they get a breaker in?

Probably wont be lucky but you never know. Otherwise check eBay Germany as they were a bit more common there.

Hope you get lucky!

Best regards,

David

Thanks, gents. Tried all these approaches, but with no luck. They are indeed as rare as a big bag of very rare things but .... fingers crossed.

All the best

Apparently the 1200S ones do not fit any other bikes. I stand to be corrected but think that they were made only for that model

2 things occur to me today

1. Wilsonep2 is a lucky guy and should buy a lottery ticket
2. Odds of a date with Katie Price have just reduced ( i.e. its more likley today than last week)

:D

Yep - very very lucky to buy a set from Dave. He’s an absolute top guy - panniers as new, fair price and delivered as well. Just back from another trip to the Highlands with the panniers and Katie Price (ok, made the last bit up).
