*** Wanted ***

As some of you may know I’ve been lucky recently to purchase a BCR (I’m still moist looking at it). The intention was & still is to lay it up until next year due to work commitments & so I persuaded the current Mrs Waterhouse to let me store it in the conservatory....... however she is not happy at it sat on the side stand & is absolutely convinced that the grandson aged nearly 5 is gonna pull it over.....!
So, does anyone have a paddock stand for this bike they are willing to part with for coin of the realm please, or failing that point me in the direction of what to buy & where from pleeeeeease ?

Thanks in advance.

If you can't find a paddock stand, perhaps an ABBA stand will do?

Don’t use the BMW service stand whatever you do . Totally unstable and won’t solve your issue.
I don’t think a child could ever pull the bike over, although I can understand why it looks that way. Not much help am I?

I’ve no problem with it to be honest, but she who must be obeyed is convinced that the little man is a mini force of nature.....

I reckon you’re right - I can’t seem to find anything else.

Wise words as ever John, I’m even considering getting a centre stand set up just for winter storage & putting the belly pan on the mantle

See if Motorworks have any Boxerdesign stands or try their website. I’ve had both the ABBA and Boxerdesign stands and I think the Boxerdesign is the better of the 2. They ain’t cheap tho!!!

Do you know anyone that can weld? Simple design. Also, if you do decide on an ABBA stand, make sure you get the model for the 04 Boxercup as it is a taller bike than the standard 11s

Have a look for one of these ‘Bikegrab’ stands s/h on eBay (or new)

https://on-bike.com/motorcycle-lifts/mo ... heel-chock

I am pretty sure they adjust wide enough for a 180 rear tyre to reverse the bike in.

(There are quite a few variations/makers of them)

I have a stand which came with my 11S. I have since bought a centre stand so it’s surplus to requirements.

It has two spring loaded pins which go into the frame mounting holes for the centre stand. It’s then a matter of pushing the long arm down to floor level to secure the bike.

I’m in Edinburgh and you’d be welcome to it. It’s a solid and heavy piece of kit.

Perhaps a small donation to Wild Justice could be made if it was of use to you?

Cheers

This sounds like a great idea to me.

Would you be willing to send it please ?

As for the donation, not a problem at all. Just let me know how much & where etc... & I’m good with that. :D
