Cheers

He contacted me through the Pelican forum.

This guy sent me some photo's of the rack...had me going for a little bit, but the tip off was only using Western Union and sending the funds to his sisters place here;

Full Names: Mamie Brant
Address: 205 Preakness Dr, Hinesville, GA 31313, USA.

I'm just waiting for a prepaid letter from someone so I can send her up to 50lbs of used tire material.

Here is the bunt's email if anyone is interested in sending him loads of junk.......

I emailed Hattech last month and they finally replied to me.............

They are going to make another batch of these racks.

Get'em while they are hot..........

There are plenty of pillion plates available (if you search e-bay), that can be bolted (with spacers made from Stainless hyd tubing) to pillion seats............

As long as you have a pillion seat you are prepared to drill holes in :shock:

I bought an R-1 pillion pad, complete with GIVI plate and neat top-box. Looks are a bit of an acquired taste - but great for touring or a weekend away.

Hmmm, so is there a specific box or semi-rigid bag that clips to this plate?

I use the Kriega 10 on my Bagster cover, perfect for wet weather pants, wallet, camera etc...found the Bagster bag a bit too big, for moving around freely.

I'm a fan of BagsConnection tail-packs.

Dependent upon the profile of the rack - you can either go for a narrow-ish pack, or the one which extends down the sides slightly.

I see. So it's a case of pick yer poison. Cheers. The BagsConnection jobs do look good. I suppose you could just strap one onto the pillion seat rather than go to the expense of a luggage plate?

A lot of bags, if there are securing slots on a plate - won't need the straps down onto pillion pegs etc - which invariably rub bodywork no matter how much gaffer tape and grip-fabric you use.

This is quite a good tailpack, quite neat. £74.
