Welcome to the forum... and I hope you enjoy your bike. The items you mention for stiffening up your front end is exactly what I did to my old R100RS.... BUT you should not have to do any of that to the 1100s.... If BMW got anything right on the 1100s it was the fron end in my opinion (if you like ...

Can anyone recommend a good specialist in Kent?

Hi I'm on a shoestring budget and need to get a couple of jobs done to my 2003 SS. I'm in the mid Kent area and I'd like to find a genuine, reliable specialist or handy private mechanic who can take care of more specialised fettling... (I'm OK with the simple stuff like oil, filters, brake pads etc....
