Kaze.. spring looks right and ball bearing should fit in the hole.
The bb can be lost when the cap is taken off and the bb shoots off..

Did i mention i am working on opening the intake duct out as well i have one here that i am playing with ... You could go down the totally open and free flowing ENC intake * route (I have..).. ... no :wink: Not really being facetious.. Have removed them, but damaged in doing so. I wanted shot of them, so wasn't bothered. Thought they looked awful, along with the control unit, and one side was slipping, and wasn't happy with the way they were plumbed in. .. used a stanley knife.

yup.. On your 'normal' filter removal tool, drill 2 holes diagonally (or 3 equally spaced if want). Fit tool to filter as best as poss. Puncture filter through holes (drill, punch etc.) Get 2/3 long enough bolts (maybe 2 - 3 in.) and knock them though tool holes into filter. Now try.. Messy, but wor...
