Removed it, gave it a good shake, wired it in and it went peep (only not that loud)!
Replaced it and its been ok since - I think it misses the vibes

Did the Norway thing a couple of years ago, rode to Narvik then hung a right and returned through Sweden, great fun even tho it rained 9 days out of 11
