Mitch it's not original colour(I've never seen a red/silver one only toothpaste style) and some think damaged bodywork that has been resprayed plus very limited market I suppose.

Capt howdy Ive done this twice on two different r1200s Ive owned and could never get the shaft out of the swingarm and have always removed the swingarm and replaced the output shaft seal as well as lube the front spline.(both low mileage bikes and seals were weeping) One had a snap ring on the front...

Jeznewsome the last camera I owned was 35mmslr and no film available anymore. I don't own or need a mobile phone. I realize the report is a bit boring without pictures.

BoxerCupR the Highway patrol cops are scum over here. Mitch1100 is that a suction cup type of mount and what is it called so I can buy one? It looks like the way to go.

I've done some checks thanks to the information suppled by Blackel. Dymag and Rotobox only make rear wheels for double sided swingarms(however Dymag said they might make them next year) and BST do make them for the r1200s. BoxerCupR yes I've seen many a youtube video clip which hides the speedo(edited out somehow)this is above my skill levels. Is there a reason for this eg can the police demand to see it or do they peruse youtube to uncover speeding offences?

Paul great footage however my kids bought me a gopro years ago but I've never used it as yet. BoxerCupR good perspective from the oil cooler I too want mine facing forward thanks for the replies may have to mount it on my helmet but reluctant to do so.

richphela the r1100s is a better touring bike(especially two up) and has a more comfortable seat than the more sports orientated r1200s.
