But...

I've just spent all weekend toying with and training against a Hayabusa...with the express interest of "dealing" with certain people on Blackbirds come June.

The things you do to let the "pack" catch up  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to witness your cornering as I was still making my way through said "pack"...again. 8) An interesting, and enjoyable (honest!) test, trying to keep the bike on the two strips of tread I had left. Sti...

I got 3.5K (twisties & warm weather) and 4.5K (commuting and cold) from rear Power 2s.

Maybe it's just a sub-optimal tyre???

Or the salt rotted it :?

I hadn't thought of that...though I knew it would change the speedo.

It's a 190/50 instead of a 190/55.

Thanks,

I'm still in love with my Laser Race cans (with Y piece & chip).

Apologies, I don't have a sound file, but all my neighbours (from blocks away) love it...especially in the early hours.

Tyre Depth (55/50)

I have been offered a 50 rather than 55 rear.

Other than lowering the bike, any thoughts on pros/cons?

Thanks,

John

PS. FWIW, it's not actually for the 11S

I think 2002 was the year Bike had an 11S as a long term tester. It always pops up every so often as an alternative sports tourer, and there was a lovely write of of the BCR on the bike 440...I believe it was rated (by Steve Rose) as the best bike he had ever taken on it and was, at the time, the qu...

And there I was...

If I had used my priority boarding card instead of quaffing yet another bottle of wine I *might* have sat next to JT on the plane.

And I found a new bar in Cadiz.

Shame I forgot the sunscreen

Ermm...

K and £? Not quite the same methinks.

You get cheesed off applying for a job thinking it was £25 per hour to find out it was £25K per annum?

Pedantic? Moi?

Well... For some reason I wanted a black one...I've always wanted a black bike (they had just stopped producing them when I bought the R1100S)...and they could give me a discount on the S version...(I have ordered pipes and hugger to offset that) So, for pretty much the price of an HP2S I'll be sat ...
