Years back an old boy down the road used to have a tennis ball bolted to his 'bars with a slit in the top, sponge shoved in the slit. Reckoned he'd used it for years to keep his visor clean

Agreed, several of my friends years ago used to do the same when going to the Bol D'Or, they always reckoned the TGV was only a tad more expensive.

Would it not be better to get the ferry to Santander or Bilbao and arrive in northern Spain cutting out all those miles.
