I shall try to improve direct sunlight readability as well, but that would sacrifice to the global integration of the module...

I finally made some progress over the week end. After many 3d print trials, I have finally found a way to hold the display in place securely on the dashboard. It's really easy to remove. Just clamp both tiny metal studs with a zip tie and then pull the switch backwards. The connector is purple/yellow and located on the left of the battery tray.
