SOLD! Power Commander 2x R1100S

I fitted the PC to my 1999, had it set, twice, and did many miles with it. Then I learned of the 'better' version, designed for the GS, that would perfectly tune each pot, but required an O2 sensor in each downpipe. New PC unit ordered from USA, import tax paid; spare downpipes purchased and Lambda ...

Re: Pulse Jet Ignition

I did ask and it is £120, money back guarantee. It requires the ignition timing to be retarded to prevent mid range pre ignition.
It is currently not the right weather for me to ride, so I could not try this for some months yet.

Re: Fitting bulbs in confined spaces

Halfords will fit bulbs for a few pounds. Normally I would do my own, but some access spaces make this a bargain. Ford Ka is definitely a Halfords job.

Also worth noting, the oil is merely a lubricant, it does not do damping. I believe quantity is determined by measuring down from the fork top to the top of the oil with the forks extended; different depth for different forks.

R1100S front + rear 5.5" wheels

I have finally had the opportunity, strength and balance to get up into the loft to recover these and put them on here for sale. The 5.5" rear wheel has been expensively cleaned and powder coated black. The Road Pilot tyre is on it to protect the rim, though it has useable tread. The rear disc ...

I have a Stebel Nautilus on mine too. Wired using Monster speaker cable via a relay. Best reaction was on Nth Circular Neasden, homebound from the Ace, busy Sunday traffic, the loaded car reconsidered pulling in front of me from the slow lane and almost went into the nearside Armco.

I have the fat tank too; Hawker Odyssey red battery fits easy - it will crank a 1984 diesel Transit. Used a modified plastic milk container to protect the terminals from the tank. ECU relocated.

Rumour has it, rescued from a disastrous car wreck, it was salvaged via a BMW workshop to a bike and later used in an intergalactic space probe.

The driving penalties are severe now. Road into town is filled with a regular conga of slow moving traffic. However, the exit side is often relatively clear. 30mph, but Seat driver must have been at 65mph into the final roundabout heading out. He lost it and slammed into the side of a town bound Sko...

I have done P&O ferry Dover - Calais and the tunnel a few times. I live 30 minutes into Kent. Train/tunnel is really easy and they let you board the first space available after arrival at the terminal, so I have gained an earlier crossing a couple of times. Though last time, they wanted 35E to r...
