Re: U.K. Clean Air Zone
Phil, tried my K1200RS which is 2003 and it came back with "no charge" for all the clean air cities (didn't try London). But nowhere can I find this M1 category and it's blank on my V5. My R1100S also says no charge and also has no category stated on the V5.

Garmin mount
Bit of a longshot, but here goes. Does anyone have a Garmin Zumo 660 bike mounting with loom attached lying around on the shelf that they would part with? I have a spare one, but despite two cleared garages and searches I cannot find it. So willing to buy a used one having seen the price of new ones...

Re: Welsh Weekend 2023 (UPDATE)
Wunderlich bar extensions now on, just the extended SS front brake hose to go - plus bleeding which I am not looking forward to on this ABS system. Something to do while the rest of the world watches some chap called Charles get a gold weight put on his head this weekend.

Re: Yet another BMW
Well bar risers are fitted just got to change the brake hose for a longer one now. Can't turn the bars to left lock with the standard hose and the extended hose supplied in the kit is only 2 cm longer and needs to be 6 or 7 cm longer. Had to get one made up by Friction Hydraulics in Telford - £20 in...

Re: Welsh Weekend 2023 (UPDATE)
Yep Phil, looking forward to that beer and a good biking weekend, as long as Mr Parry has found a virgin in Wrexham to sacrifice and guarantee the sunshine. My mate who was supposed to get my bar extensions machined now says it will be next weekend - hey ho.

Re: Welsh Weekend 2023 (UPDATE)
Just updated my Garmin sat-nav and it worked.
The IT gods (gremlins) must have taken a day off from screwing me up .
Just have to get the bar extenders sorted out now and bolted onto the bike.
Looking forward to it.

You'll be needing some cylinder head savers then if you want to get round some of the tighter hairpins and roads Steve usually takes us along.

Spot on Paul!
That's why most of us in our late 60's and 70's are going deaf and the brain functions are disappearing.
Too much head banging to Cream, Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and AC/DC etc. when we were in our teens and supposedly growing up.

Re: Not Mine, yet : V100 Mandello
I'm surprised that you both are looking to replace an R1200RS with a Guzzi.
I realise that a change is as good as a rest, but what is wrong with the RS?
Detailed answers please, as the R1200RS is what I would aim for when funds allow.

Re: Immobiliser battery
I guess that depends upon which system you have fitted to the bike.
More details needed before anyone can give you an answer I think.
