Very nicely done Paul. Recognised a few locations with a smile :)

I notice you took a drone with you but not much footage? Can we expect to see some more?

The video says the rider was OK, suffering whiplash and bruising. Can't tell if the bike actually makes any contact with the car so the driver was probably completely unaware as he obviously doesn't use his mirrors!! Even so he would have the bang as the bike tumbled down the road so probably though...

30k miles rebuild you say? That's about another 24 years in my case then :)

Talking of tyres I have used pair of Metz M3's sitting in the garage (rear is a 180). Not badly squared off but took them off before a trip to the south of France. Couldn't bring myself to throw them away as they are very serviceable but now have decided to get rid. Yours if you want them for TD ty...

HP2 Sport For Sale

Just putting it out here. Totally standard 2010 HP2 Sport (non-ABS) with 6K miles. Be gutted to part with it but alas, I am just not riding enough to warrant having this beautiful bike sitting in the garage any longer. Those of you that have seen this bike know what a fabulous condition it is in. AN...

They are absolutely hopeless. Al :D I'll second that. You forget just how crap they are when you don't ride it for a while but it takes a split second to remember once on board. Don't know how BMW got away with it? Unless all their test pilots are about 12 inches wide !! Need to keep an eye for a p...

Oooh goody. I love a good gearbox oil issue thread. Fill and drain plugs are on RH side of gearbox ( :? ). The drain plug is just above the header (near the rear brake lever toe bit) and needs a 14mm hex drive. Room is very tight so a 1 inch piece of Allen key and a 14mm spanner are your best bet. T...

Excellent day out.. :) Rode up from Brum in snow `flurries`so spent the first hour defrosting, progress somewhat erratic ( more than normal :) ) as I could not feel my hands to brake/change gear, but after the first break really enjoyed the day out over some well chosen cracking roads, a nice varia...

Err ....I think those are going to need some wet & dry before the Autosol!

I think you will need to start off quite course grit to get the worst of the corrosion off then decrease the grit as far down as 1500 to get a reasonable finish. Then polish up with Autosol.

Good luck!

No idea about a straight swap on the mounting lugs but I think you will find the brake line ends (where they meet the caliper) are different angles so you will need new lines as well. DT The bike already has 2 Goodridge stainless hoses direct from the m/c, (with a bit of slack) so hopefully no worr...
