I had a look at the Il**berger one and while I'm sure its a fantastic piece of kit (not wanting to alienate anyone) it is a bit 'obvious', (there, I have now alienated half the membership. Bugger). I would like one that does'nt stand out to much i.e. invisible when fitted, and as I don't ride my bik...

That same old hugger question.............again!

Sorry boys and girls. I know you will all be sick of this question and I know I'm going to get a dozen different answers but............. whats the best looking hugger for a Boxercup rep? I have seen a few different types on ebay (fit to base of shock, fit to brake caliper fixings, carbon lookalike,...

I really must get around to reading my owners manual! Whats all this about a puncure repair kit? If I get a puncture I just call that nice Carol Nash lady and she sends a nice man to fix it for me or take me to a place that can fix it.

:? Oh well, there on now. Whata bloody palarva getting the rear end in the air on a BCR! Two very tall axle stands, a weight lifting bar (suitably protected) and a fireman to help lift the thing on to the stands. Christ! this thing weighs a ton! All I need to do now is find someone to help me lift i...

Hi, I am also new to the site having bought a BCR on 2nd Jan. I too felt a bit odd buying BMW at such a young age (43) but hey, no one can see how old you are with your helmet on. Haven't yet had a chance to ride the bike more than a few miles (wet roads, cold, bald tyres, no MOT, no tax, etc) but i...

Can't say I've noticed the problem my self but then again I've not ridden my bike for any length of time yet! No tax, MOT, illegal tyre, wet roads, etc. However, at the recent NEC bike show I sat on K1200 wearing jeans (me, not the K1200!) and no matter how hard I tried I just kept sliding forward u...

Ta for the input chaps. I must admit that when I got home yesterday I checked the clearance between the existing 180 tyre (M1) and the swingarm and there aint no way a 190's gonna fit. Oh well, off to Ebay! While on the subject, does anyone have experienec of Dunlop 208race reps on an R1100 and if s...

It's not that I want to put a wider tyre on, it's just that I have been given a pair of new tyres gratis but the rear is 190 rather than 180. I think I will have to try and blag a swap from a tyre dealer by the sounds of it. As for getting out there and riding it hard, I'll do just that the next sun...

Another numpty tyre question.

Hi to all. This is the first post so apologies to all if the question has been raised before. I have just become the proud owner of a 2003 BCR (the randy one) and the rear tyre is a bit thin! Currently on the original M1's but have managed to obtain a new pair of Dunlop D208RR's gratis. Only prob is...
