Hi Mountain, So sorry to hear your 1100s is broken :( My 2001 1100s' gearbox 'expired' after only 36K. The bike did have a full BMW service history and after some communication with BMW UK my bike was fitted with a new gearbox at no cost to me. Perhaps a letter to BMW Customer Services might save yo...
