Welcome Martin & good luck with the search. I’m a returning member after a spell away & I’ve been lucky enough to bag myself a mint low mileage BCR (after a brief chain jerking session....) There aren’t too many coming up for sale these days & it will obviously be easier to bag yourself ...

I have a stand which came with my 11S. I have since bought a centre stand so it’s surplus to requirements. It has two spring loaded pins which go into the frame mounting holes for the centre stand. It’s then a matter of pushing the long arm down to floor level to secure the bike. I’m in Edinburgh a...

Don’t use the BMW service stand whatever you do . Totally unstable and won’t solve your issue. I don’t think a child could ever pull the bike over, although I can understand why it looks that way. Well, 49 miles later it gets the thumbs up from the current Mrs Waterhouse as well. When asked what she thought she replied: “much better than the VMax”
