Welcome Martin & good luck with the search. I’m a returning member after a spell away & I’ve been lucky enough to bag myself a mint low mileage BCR (after a brief chain jerking session....) There aren’t too many coming up for sale these days & it will obviously be easier to bag yourself ...

I have a stand which came with my 11S. I have since bought a centre stand so it’s surplus to requirements. It has two spring loaded pins which go into the frame mounting holes for the centre stand. Don’t use the BMW service stand whatever you do . Totally unstable and won’t solve your issue. I don’t think a child could ever pull the bike over, although I can understand why it looks that way. Well, 49 miles later it gets the thumbs up from the current Mrs Waterhouse as well. When asked what she thought she replied: “much better than the VMax”
