Ok, something to think about when the Queens speech is on. What would you have in your dream garage? You're allowed 5 plus of course your existing BMW. Mine are:-
Laverda Jota (the 180 of course)
RG 500 Gamma
Ducati 450 Desmo
XR 750 Harley flat tracker
Manx Norton

Cheers for that. On a related subject would you
a) start the bike every couple of weeks to keep the oil circulating
or
b) leave it alone and fire it up properly on the 1st March

OIL
The bike has only done 3200KM, but its should have had an annual oil change in July 2006 which was missed as it was presumably stood in the BMW dealers. The dealer has offered to do the oil change/annual service in the spring but the manual also suggests changing the oil before you lay the bike up (...

Workshop Manuals - Dumb question Number 1........
There are loads of R1100s manuals on e-bay but they are all for 99-03 models. Ive got an 05 model - what are the major differences apart from the twinspark? Is the manual going to be largely ok or am I going to shear the oil drain plug off as I torque it to completely the wrong value?
