mirrors

the glass of my mirrors of my early 1100s have worked loose. anyone got a fix for this? i thought about drilling the plastic surround then filling the voids with expandable foam.... or maybe drop a bead of clear silicon around the glass.
anyone else been there?

1100s oil filter tool

Best price for one of these?
Came to fettle the beemer this morning [new purchase, 48 hours old] and bugger me if the oil filter ain't buried up in the motor.
Do I need a 76mm 14 flute spanner for this filter? If so, then the best price I've located so far is £7 - plus £3 postage. Am I likely to ...

Viewing his other items for sale it looks as though he's a bike dealer. The other bikes he has for sale are more realistically priced which suggests either he doesn't know the true value, which I doubt, or there's something not 100% with it. dunno mate, bit hard to say really as i've only ridden it home [a half hour ride, mostly in traffic] and the only things i have to judge it against are my xr400 and my [ex] fireblade. but it seems okay, and i may well be monogamous for a good few years.

just think: you're not buying a bike, you're ...

consequences

bought a 98 r1100s with the cat removed and a pair of art carbon cans.

question is, the fuel injection ain't gonna automatically take into consideration the freer-flowing cans when it calculates the air-fuel mixture, and i'm fairly sure no mods have been done to the management, so just what ...

rides well! having had enough of japanese fours, thought i'd go for something a little different. i had an old ...
