RT wet weight 259kg
GT16 wet weight 320kg

Triumph Copy wet weight 301kg

Too heavy vs the RT , not as much oomph as the GT.

7/10 must try harder ( and not copy the german boys homework)

Well what's it like??? I have never ridden one, but I'm sure it will be fantastic.

I love it....but it's only done 500 mile so waiting to get the first service out the way before I can open it up a bit. Already though it's bringing a smile to the face. It ...

Returning.....

A long long time ago at a jolly wet Burton on Trent meeting I pitched up with my R1200S, think it was one of the first ones....fast forward past a k1200r, GSA, S1000R , RT12SE and I've arrived back but this time with an HP2 Sport in Motorsport colours. What a lovely bit of kit...so hi , again.

Had mine (12S) in for the recalls. No big deal.
i) fit the plastic cup in the yoke to stop keys dropping through
ii) reposition line on front brake (only apllies to ABS equipped bikes)
iii) oil seal on rear drive
Done in an hour

I fitted one of Sandbars , took 20 mins - most of which was figuring out size of these tor x sockets.
Kept washers on the bolts and clearance was ok.

3000miles later still got sparkly Ohlins.

re 12S ohlins out of the box, as Ron says its soft (or plush if you want to be kind) but when you start to push on you'll want to stiffen it up.
I just went out over an afternoon and fiddled. Only pain on the road is front shock access.....
