I had a similar thing, did the fuel filter but no better. Turned out to be the stick coil that connects to the spark plug. Got a second hand one from Motor works £14.00 Bike now runs great.

From recollection Jefferies must have adjusted them some two years ago. I wonder how many times they can be adjusted before they need replacing.

Going to the Alps in July so may consider replacing them. Going to have a go myself. It cannot be any harder than that sodding fuel filter

Been trailing through posts on Paralever bearing replacement and adjustments. Bike has done 24000 miles.

Qn The play I am experiencing is mainly 12 and 6 o'clock and not the normal 3 and 9 o'clock Would this still be those bearings. Could it be the bushing in the torque arm?

You had it bang on. Ordered a stick coil from Motorworks £15.00 second hand
Swapped her over and just been out did not misfire once.

Having a problem like this but not just in the wet. Seems as soon as the engine gets warm it has hesitancy on larger throttle openings. Not good when over taking.

I have changed the plugs done the valves about 3000 miles ago and also balanced the throttle bodies with the twin max.

I had a similar feel prior to my alps trip. brisk spark plugs the problem and they were new. put the old ones back in and all ok then the surging misfire feeling came back (old plugs)

Are your plugs ok could they have got damp?

I have noticed a leak through the sight glass on the master cylinder handle bar. Investigated and the thing fell out. put it back in but still leaking. Question is can you get replacement sight glass with o ring or is it a new master cylinder ? they are the servo abs 111 type
