Anyone got one of these. They look good but maybe a bit of a faff to fit.

Re: Steve Hislop - The lost letter
The museum at Hawick has a room dedicated to Steve Hislop and another to Jimmy Guthrie. Well worth a visit and the roads up there are cracking.

Re: HP2 sport on ukgser for £10k
That’s what I thought and I’m sure the ones advertised at 15k with low miles would be open to offers so not a bargain by any means.

Cheers, there’s been a couple of sets for the LC models on the ukgser forum so I’ll keep an eye out on there as well.

Re: Head guards
Just seeing what the options are tbh. There are some cheap Chinese ones on eBay for the Gs but might look a bit odd on the S. I’ve noticed how little stuff comes up for these bikes but I’m sure something will pop up.

Head guards
I’m after a set of head guards for my 1200s which is currently fitted with the standard plastic ones. I’m guessing that the same year GS ones will fit.
Anyone got a set that they want to sell.
Thanks

Re: Lower Drink-driving limit.... No noticeable effect.
That’s what happens when you create a reactivate police force by reducing numbers to crisis point. I know quite a few cops and they have little or no time for proactive policing, they want to go out and get the baddies but as soon as they clear down from a job and show available they are sent to the...

There’s a Pyramid hugger on Shpock for £40 that may be of use. Can’t post link but just search on r1200s.

Re: R12S THROTTLE ECCENTRIC REMOVAL
This is the modification Hugo ( congoman ) had done to his old bike that I now own. I’ve never ridden a 1200s other than this one but throttle pick up is just like any other bike I’ve owned.

Re: 350lc YPVS
Riding these bikes takes you back to a time when things were more simple. Swapping back wheels with your pal to get through an mot, nicking petrol out of your dads lawnmower etc. Those of us who know how well the stink wheels go never underestimate them. I remember when Mat Oxley lapped the TT at 10...

Re: 350lc YPVS
The bike was set up by a guy called Dave Whattam and the pipes are his design with a set of TZ silencers fitted.
